FAQs

  • Yes. I am a graduate of American Home Inspectors Training and a certified professional inspector through InterNACHI. InterNACHI promotes a high standard of professionalism, business ethics, and inspection procedures.

  • A home inspector’s report will review the condition of the home’s heating system, central air conditioning system (temperature permitting), interior plumbing and electrical systems; the roof, attic, and visible insulation; walls, ceilings, floors, windows and doors; the foundation, basement, and visible structure. At Complete Home Inspection infrared thermal imaging will also be used. Radon testing and pest inspection is also offered as an additional service.

  • It is not recommended. Professional home inspectors are specially trained and uniquely suited to perform objective and comprehensive visual examinations of a home.

  • Simply put, no. Home inspectors do not pass or fail a home, but instead report on the home’s overall condition and point out any systems or components that may need repair or replacement. A home inspection gives you more insight into your future home and allows you to make important decisions with confidence.

  • While it is not mandatory to be there for the inspection, it is highly encouraged. Being present at the inspection allows you to ask real time questions and understand the findings. At Complete Home Inspection, we encourage you to participate in the inspection!

  • All homes (even new construction) have problems. Every problem has a solution. Solutions vary from a simple fix of the component to adjusting the purchase price but having a home inspection allows the problem to be addressed before the sales closes.

  • Inspection fees are dependent on a number of factors including the size of the home, its age, travel and the services requested. We don’t recommend you make cost the only factor when choosing a home inspector. The knowledge gained from a good home inspection is invaluable. The small cost of a home inspection could save you thousands of dollars towards the home! Contact us today for pricing!

  • A home inspection varies depending on the size, age and condition of the house. Generally speaking, a typical inspection will take 2 – 3 hours.
